Mid-Level MS System Engineer

Bowman Williams is seeking a Mid-Level MS System Engineer with an IT Services background for a position on the Cloud Security and Support Team, located on Staten Island, NY.  This position is for one of the premier providers of cloud, managed hosting and collocation in the NYC metro area and has been ranked by INC. Mid-Level MS System Engineer Requirements:

At least 3+ years of experience working with VMware and Microsoft Systems is strongly preferred for this position.  Knowledge of other systems and procedures such as TCP/IP, tier 3 support, and experience with switches/firewalls/routers is a plus.  A qualified candidate should also have VCP certifications.  A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but equivalent work experience may substitute.

Mid-Level MS System Engineer Job duties:

As the Cloud Network Administrator, the candidate will provide quality network support to the customers as efficiently as possible regarding their co-located systems.  The administrator will also use acquired technical writing skills to keep accurate documentation of developments and modifications.
