Field Service Engineer – MSP
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer – MSP with an IT Services background for one of our MSP clients. This company is seeking a tenacious and honest MSP Field Service Engineer that will handle escalated support, project-based work, an onsite consultation. The Field Service Engineer – MSP will provide user support at remote locations on assigned open tickets and collaborate with the Service Desk.
The Field Service Engineer – MSP will install, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of products and equipment and make recommendations on which product best fit the customers’ needs. A qualified Field Service Engineer – MSP candidate should also desire to receive certifications, on-the-job training, and quick career advancement. There will be room for the Field Service Engineer – MSP candidate to grow within the organization.
Field Service Engineer – MSP Experience:
- Remote and Onsite support of Windows-based desktop, mobile computes/devices, and printers
- Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites
- EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH A MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER (MSP) REQUIRED
- Installation and configuration of Windows Servers
- Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems
- ConnectWise and N-Able experience
- Performs maintenance and repairs
- Installation and configuration of Window Servers 2016-2019
- Troubleshoot and repair devices to include network switches, routers, servers, remote access, and cloud services
- Migrations from on-prem to cloud solutions (O365, Azure VM/AWS etc.)
- Experience working with VMware and Microsoft Systems
- Engage with vendors of various IT systems to learn and support their technology
- Provide problem resolution for client’s networks, systems, and any related IT issues
Field Service Engineer – MSP Salary:
- Salary: $75k-$80k based on experience
