IT Senior Systems Engineer – MSP

We seek an IT Senior Systems Engineer – MSP candidate to be part of a growing Managed Service Provider firm. The ideal IT Senior Systems Engineer – MSP candidate for this position will have 3-5+ years of experience deploying and supporting small-to-medium business environments, including servers, networking, virtualization, and the cloud. The IT Senior Systems Engineer – MSP, Azure will support clients through migrating from on-prem solutions to cloud solutions.

The IT Senior Systems Engineer – MSP must have excellent customer service skills and a desire to increase knowledge of cloud technology, virtualization, and networks for small-to-medium business solutions. The IT Senior Systems Engineer – MSP candidate, will support projects supporting O365/Azure deployments, virtualizing servers via Hyper-V/VMware, Server/Desktop support, and Networking configurations (SonicWall and Cisco Meraki) support.

IT Senior Systems Engineer – MSP Experience:

  • End User Support / Desktop Support: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktop, and mobile device troubleshooting
  • MS Office 365 administration with domain synchronization and migrations
  • MUST HAVE 3 + YEARS OF MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER EXPERIENCE
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms as well as Active Directory, Group Policy, good if you are familiar with Citrix
  • Azure deployments
  • Active Directory and Group Policy creation
  • O365/G-suite/Azure Migrations
  • Coordinating and implementing client/server applications architecture
  • VMware and/or Hyper-V experience
  • P2V migration experience
  • 3+ years of project implementation as a network engineer or network administrator
  • Implementing network software and hardware upgrades (Cisco Meraki; SonicWall; Ubiquiti)
  • Configuring and managing firewalls, switches, TCP/IP, LAN / DMZ / WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching and Firewalls, and other network appliances
