IT Support Engineer Technician – MSP

We seek an IT Support Engineer Technician – MSP to join a growing Managed Service Provider. The IT Support Engineer Technician – MSP has the opportunity to step into a hybrid Junior Support Engineer role shadowing senior technicians on more complex issues to grow their knowledge and become more autonomous. The IT Support Engineer Technician – MSP will be part of a team coordinating technology refreshes and deployments to end-users. The IT Support Engineer Technician – MSP position requires someone with 1-2 years of IT support / MSP experience who enjoys working with customers and learning from senior-level engineers. The IT Support Engineer Technician – MSP will have experience troubleshooting, installing, configuring, and testing different technologies and performing level 1-2 technical support on the Help Desk team. This opportunity allows the selected candidate to grow internally with the company.

IT Support Engineer Technician – MSP Experience:

  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
  • Troubleshooting of modern networks including but not limited to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless
  • Experience working for a Managed Service Provider/tech experience
  • 1-2 years of experience providing outstanding customer service via phone, email, and in-person in a technical support role.
  • Have experience with PSA and RMM tools such as Kaseya, ConnectWise, Continuum, Labtech or N-Able
  • Experience working with Windows OS 10, and macOS
  • Troubleshooting of multi-site Active Directory 2008R2/2012/2016 environments
  • Troubleshooting of Office365 & Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016 environments
  • Troubleshooting of on-premises networks with multiple WAN and VLAN configurations
  • Troubleshooting of virtualization environments
  • Knowledge of Remote Desktop Technologies
  • Experience with networks (SonicWall, Cisco, Meraki, Ruckus, etc.)
