IT Support Specialist Tier 2.5 (MSP) Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote and onsite level 2/3 server support and system/network administration.
  • Execute project work including network and server upgrades.
  • Conduct system/network diagnostics, repairs, and optimizations.
  • Install, configure, and deploy Microsoft Windows workstations and servers.
  • Set up switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Troubleshoot TCP/IP subnetting and Internet connectivity.
  • Address client-specific software issues (Windows, M365, QuickBooks, etc.).
  • Administer user permissions and email accounts (AD/GPO, Azure, Exchange, O365).
  • Proactively monitor and maintain client network environments.

IT Support Specialist Tier 2.5 (MSP) Technical Qualifications:

  • Proven IT Consultant experience with hardware, software, and network solutions.
  • Proficiency in TCP networking, DHCP, DNS, VLANs.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Windows and Windows Server (2012 R2 through 2022).
  • Familiarity with VMWare virtualization technologies.
