IT System Administrator & Field Technician (MSP) Overview:

Due to steady growth, we are seeking an IT System Administrator & Field Technician (MSP). This person will be responsible for providing support on Windows servers, computers, and firewalls with at least 1 year of MSP experience. This person has a keen eye for details and is experienced in managing Windows Servers including Active Directory, DNS, Server Applications, User Accounts, Group Policies, and Security. Experience with the configuration of firewalls, and resolving desktop problems for users including email, printing, scanning, and other office-related software issues. This person will become the technical advisor to our customers and provide them with technical support as well as high-level advice on technology solutions.

Previous experience working for a MSP is REQUIRED for this role.

IT System Administrator & Field Technician (MSP) Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent service and support to end-users onsite at customer locations.
  • Resolve user issues assigned in the form of tickets in the onsite and helpdesk service boards communicating with technical staff and escalating outstanding matters when needed.
  • Perform work on servers as required to resolve user-facing tickets.
  • Work within server room environments for purposes of documentation, troubleshooting, and assisting engineers remotely.

IT System Administrator & Field Technician (MSP) Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of MSP experience
  • Network troubleshooting (Firewalls/Switches/Routers)
  • Windows Server (DHCP, DNS, and GPO/AD)
  • M365 Administration
  • Data migration (M365/SharePoint/Azure)
  • Patience and understanding in helping to resolve client issues
  • Strong technical skills and willingness to learn
  • Self-motivation
