IT System Administrator (Level 2 Support) – MSP

We are a long-standing Cloud Service Provider who has been in business since 2001. We support clients across the CA area. The IT System Administrator (Level 2 Support) – MSP will work alongside senior engineers on hands-on projects such as migrations. The IT System Administrator (Level 2 Support) – MSP will be responsible for onboarding new clients and supporting new SMB clients with project deployments and migrations to Cloud technologies. The IT System Administrator (Level 2 Support) – MSP will provide remote support from the office, making heavy use of MS Office 365 and MS Azure, and working hands-on with desktops/networking a few physical servers.

IT System Administrator (Level 2 Support) – MSP Duties and Requirements:

  • Experience and understanding with virtualization/cloud computing technologies, specifically VMware and performing P2Vs
  • Experience in network and firewalls (Cisco, SonicWall, Meraki, Fortinet, etc.)
  • Install and integrate new server hardware and applications under the supervision of a more senior engineer
  • Understand and support 24/7 infrastructure and business-critical applications
  • Knowledge of Exchange (Azure, O365 is a plus), Active Directory, DNS
  • Configure and install various computer and Windows servers
  • Knowledgeable in Citrix and VMware migrations and deployments
