Junior IT Support Engineer – VMware Projects

We are currently seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer coupled with virtualization technology administration experience, specifically VMware ESX, ESXi.

The IT Support Engineer will be joining a Network Consulting & Security and Managed Services Provider in Syosset New York.

This position is entry level and working with virtualization technology (VMware) and Systems (Windows) for external clients by providing 75% onsite and 25% remote support of desktops and systems (VMware and Windows).

Junior IT Support Engineer Requirements:

Experience working with Microsoft, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, hardware installation, troubleshooting.
Experience / Exposure supporting Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office and networking protocols
Experience providing system engineer and desktop support
Supporting VMware environments is a plus…BUT NOT REQUIRED!
CCNA or VCP is a plus…BUT NOT REQUIRED!
