Junior System Administrator (Tier 1.5) – MSP

We are an established Managed Service Provider that provides tailored Cloud Services, Managed Services and Consulting to small and mid-size businesses. We are a white glove and rapidly growing MSP looking to add on a Junior System Administrator (Tier 1.5). The Junior System Administrator will be a hybrid position of providing end user support through service calls and completing backend system administration.

The ideal Junior System Administrator (Tier 1.5) is an individual who has 1+ years of experience working for a Managed Service Provider supporting multiple external business’s. The Junior System Administrator (Tier 1.5) position is perfect for any IT Professional who has mastered basic tier 1 helpdesk tickets and it looking to gain more exposure to backend system administration!

Junior System Administrator (Tier 1.5) – MSP Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications
  • Perform administrative tasks in Office 365
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment (cisco meraki, sonicwall)
  • Work along side senior engineers to assist with O365 migrations, new office build outs, network set ups

Junior System Administrator (Tier 1.5) – MSP Job Requirements:

  • 2+ Years of experience working for a Managed Service Provider REQUIRED
  • ConnectWise a major plus!!
  • Microsoft Windows server / desktop skills and experience with varying hardware platforms including Dell and HP
  • Networking/troubleshooting knowledge
  • Knowledge & experience of Windows and Servers, Active Directory, Exchange On-Prem and Office 365
  • Configuration of Routers/Switches/Firewalls a plus.
  • Experience assisting with migrations a major plus

Junior System Administrator (Tier 1.5) – MSP Benefits:
