Managed Service Provider – Senior Support Engineer

We seek a Managed Service Provider – Senior Support Engineer candidate to be part of a growing MSP. Managed Service Provider – Senior Support Engineer will support clients in implementing projects and deploying new technologies daily. The selected Senior System Engineer – (Level 3) MSP should have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms and be a self-starter willing to see tickets through to completion with research, documentation, and training.

The Managed Service Provider – Senior Support Engineer will be responsible for modernizing infrastructures, accessing and building networks, and supporting escalated support. The Managed Service Provider – Senior Support Engineer should be able to execute with a high degree of success, independently solving problems in environments rich in Microsoft 365 Cloud Services (such as Azure, Exchange Online, and SharePoint), Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Virtualization with VMware and/or Hyper-V, Firewalls, Switches, VPN’s, MDM, and Backup. The Managed Service Provider – Senior Support Engineer should be cool and calm under pressure and instills confidence in the client that they are in safe, steady hands.

Managed Service Provider – Senior Support Engineer Experience:

  • MUST HAVE 3 + YEARS OF MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER EXPERIENCE
  • Active Directory and Group Policy creation
  • O365/G-suite/Azure Migrations
  • VMware and/or Hyper-V troubleshooting and implementation solutions
  • P2V migration experience
  • Implementing network software and hardware upgrades (Cisco Meraki; SonicWall; Ubiquiti)
  • Routing, Switching and Firewalls, and other network appliances experience
  • Designing/Implementing Project Plans
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Safe Attachments, Safe Links, Phishing Protection, etc.
  • Investigative experience on the Microsoft 365 platform including Audit Logs, Message Tracing, and Cloud App Security/Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
  • Experience with MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune
  • Experience with Mac Desktop OS
  • Ticketing/PSA tools, Autotask experience a plus
  • RMM tools, Datto RMM experience a plus
