MSP – Support Engineer Level 3
We seek a MSP – Support Engineer Level 3 candidate to be part of a growing MSP. The MSP – Support Engineer Level 3 will support clients in implementing projects and deploying new technologies daily. The MSP – Support Engineer Level 3 will be responsible for modernizing infrastructures, accessing and building networks, and supporting escalated support.
CANDIDATES POSSESSING EXPERIENCE working for IT Managed Service Provider and working with ConnectWise and VMware are HIGHLY encouraged to apply. The MSP – Support Engineer Level 3 will have five years of industry experience and the ability to design and implement project plans. The selected MSP – Support Engineer Level 3 should have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms and be a self-starter willing to see tickets through to completion with research, documentation, and training.
MSP – Support Engineer Level 3 Experience:
- MUST HAVE 3 + YEARS OF MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER EXPERIENCE
- Server 2008/2008R2, Server 2012/2012R2, Server 2016, VMware, Hyper-V
- Exchange, SQL, Active Directory, DNS, File Server, Domain Controller
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms as well as Active Directory and Group Policy
- Azure deployments
- Active Directory and Group Policy creation
- O365/G-suite/Azure Migrations
- Coordinating and implementing client/server applications architecture
- VMware and/or Hyper-V troubleshooting and implementation solutions
- P2V migration experience
- Configuring and managing firewalls, switches, TCP/IP, LAN / DMZ / WAN, DHCP, DNS
- Recommendation, testing, set up, deployment, and maintenance of hardware and software for clients
- Implementing network software and hardware upgrades (Cisco Meraki; SonicWall; Ubiquiti)
- Routing, Switching and Firewalls, and other network appliances experience
- Designing/Implementing Project Plans
