Network Engineer – MSP (CCNP certified)

The Network Engineer – MSP (CCNP certified) develops practices and procedures for network installation, maintenance, and operation. We seek a Network Engineer – MSP (CCNP certified) who has experience deploying SMB networks and Windows Server environments virtualized on VMware/Hyper-V for multiple clients. The Network Engineer – MSP (CCNP certified) will demonstrate expertise in supporting multiple technology environments with 20 – 200 users. The Network Engineer – MSP (CCNP certified) candidate, will meet with C-levels, consult, do a road map, and perform projects, deployments, and post-project support. The candidate should have experience supporting system configurations, documenting, directing, and enforcing system standards.

Network Engineer – MSP (CCNP certified) Experience:

  • MUST HAVE 2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING FOR A MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER
  • Hyper-V and VMware building and installation experience
  • Windows desktop and server operating systems experience
  • Active Directory, Group Policy
  • Office 365 migration and applications experience
  • Azure / AWS cloud knowledge and experience
  • Configure, deploy and manage Cisco Routers, Switches, and Wireless access points
  • Experience working with Meraki, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto
  • Experience designing, implementing site-to-site and client-to-site VPNs, and SD-WAN
  • Assist in conducting analyses of new technologies and recommendations for system configurations and network design
  • Implementation of wired and wireless network software/hardware installation and monitoring
  • Minimize hardware/software downtime on related equipment within network services, telecommunications, and throughout various departments to maximize performance, efficiency, and productivity
  • Monitor and respond to alarms to resolve outages quickly
  • Performs routine computer maintenance and monitoring tasks
  •  Performs basic Microsoft Windows enterprise‐level networking tasks on client systems
  • CCNP Certified REQUIRED
