Presales Solutions Engineer (Architect)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Presales Solutions Engineer (Architect) who excels in designing comprehensive IT solutions without the implementation component. This role is 100% focused on architecture and design, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible technological strategies to meet their business needs. The role will be primarily remote, with up to 5 client site visits per month.

 Presales Solutions Engineer (Architect) Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective IT solutions.
  • Design end-to-end IT architecture, including network, infrastructure, security, and application components.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation and detailed diagrams to communicate design specifications to clients and internal teams.
  • Conduct technical assessments and provide strategic recommendations for IT improvements and optimizations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices to ensure cutting-edge solutions for our clients.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to explain and advocate for proposed solutions.
  • Work closely with sales and project management teams to align technical designs with business objectives and project timelines.
  • Support presales activities, including developing proposals, creating solution blueprints, and participating in sales calls to provide technical expertise.

 Presales Solutions Engineer (Architect) Requirements

  • Proven experience as a  Presales Solutions Engineer (Architect) in an MSP environment.
  • Experience in presales activities, including proposal development and technical support during sales engagements.
  • Strong expertise in designing IT solutions across various domains such as networking, security, cloud services, and applications.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed technical documentation and diagrams.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites up to 5 times per month.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc.) are a plus.
