Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer who will focus entirely on the design aspect of IT solutions. This role is all about crafting the best technology strategies to meet our clients’ unique needs, without being involved in the implementation process. The position is predominantly remote, with occasional travel to client sites, not exceeding 5 times per month.

Sales Engineer (100% Designing – No Implementation) Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to gather requirements and understand their business challenges.
  • Design comprehensive IT solutions that encompass network, infrastructure, security, and application components.
  • Produce detailed technical documentation and schematic diagrams to illustrate design concepts.
  • Conduct technical evaluations and provide recommendations to enhance client IT environments.
  • Keep abreast of the latest technological developments and integrate them into solution designs.
  • Present and explain proposed solutions to clients, ensuring they understand the benefits and technical details.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and project management teams to ensure designs align with business goals and timelines.
  • Support presales activities, including crafting proposals, preparing solution blueprints, and offering technical insights during sales discussions.

Sales Engineer (100% Designing – No Implementation) Requirements: 

  • MSP experience is a must have requirement
  • Demonstrated experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect, within an MSP environment.
  • Proficiency in designing IT solutions across various domains, including networking, security, cloud services, and applications.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Skilled in creating precise technical documentation and diagrams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites up to 5 times per month.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in presales activities, including proposal development and technical support during sales engagements.
