Senior System Engineer-MSP
We are currently seeking a Senior System Engineer – MSP candidate to be part of a growing Managed Service Provider firm. The ideal System Engineer Tier 3 – MSP candidate for this position will have 3-5+ years of experience deploying and supporting small-to-medium business environments, including servers, networking, virtualization, and the cloud.
The Senior System Engineer – MSP must have excellent customer service skills and a desire to increase knowledge of cloud technology, virtualization, and networks for small-to-medium business solutions. The Senior System Engineer – MSP candidate will work and support projects supporting Windows Server (AD, GPO) environments, migrate O365 and communicate technical solutions and services for the small-to-midsize business market.
Senior System Engineer-MSP Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Design, Implementation and Support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Office 365, Azure and AWS, Exchange, SQL
- Design, Implementation and Support services for virtualization technologies: VMware, and Microsoft
- Design and implementation at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
- P2V migration experience
- Ticketing and R.M.M. experience (ConnectWise, Kaseya, ITGlue, Datto, etc.)
- Implementing network software and hardware upgrades (Cisco Meraki; SonicWall)
- Configure servers and other critical components in Azure
- Administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review
- Azure & A.W.S. administration and support
- Must have experience working Manage Service Provider
