System Administrator for MSP
MSP’s System Administrator will join an IT Managed Services and Cloud Solutions Provider. You will be part of the Solutions and Projects Team and perform remote and on-site field tech work with small to mid-size companies. The System Administrator for MSP should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be willing to travel to client sites.
The System Administrator for MSP candidate will understand bash scripting, patching, and security hardening. Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve moderate to high-scope and complex technical problems, including integrating hardware and operating systems (OS). The System Administrator for MSP candidate will have plenty of opportunities to advance in their career.
System Administrator for MSP Experience:
- Design, configure, implement, administer, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, including servers (cloud and local), firewalls, switches, and routers.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
- ***2 Years of MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER (MSP) EXPERIENCE REQUIRED***
- Work with and advise team members and customers on best practices, advanced troubleshooting, and future systems designs.
- Create and update documentation of existing or future customer environments
- Collaborate with end-users to provide IT support in the field and remotely.
System Administrator for MSP Will Use:
- Windows Server 2012-2019
- Office 365, Active Directory
- Experience with HP or Dell servers
- Azure and/or AWS
- ConnectWise, Kaseya, Datto, ITGlue, etc. experience
- VMware and/or Hyper-V
- Cisco routers and switches with CCNA preferred
- Firewalls (SonicWall, Fortinet, Meraki) – configuring, routing, and switching
