Senior System Administrator – Managed Services/ Microsoft SME
We are looking for a System Engineer/ Manager – MSP with strong leadership and managements qualities. The System Engineer/ Manager – MSP will spend 50% managing the team, 20% on escalations, 30% of their time on implementation/design.
The System Engineer/ Manager – MSP will be joining a prestigious Managed Service Provider that has been a leading IT organization since the early 90’s. Our services include Cyber Security, Professional Services, Managed Services, etc. We are a collaborative group and pave the way for our techs to grow internally and advance their technical knowledge.
Senior System Administrator – Managed Services/ Microsoft SME Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the MSP team to deliver exceptional IT support services.
- Design, implement, and support IT solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Utilize Co-pilot, SentinelOne, Intune, M365, Azure, and SharePoint for comprehensive IT management and security operations.
- Provide advanced support for Windows Server, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and deployment.
- Manage Microsoft 365 Cloud suite and other cloud environments (Office 365/Azure).
- Maintain and enhance Active Directory environments and Group Policies.
- Continuously improve processes and workflows to enhance service delivery.
Senior System Administrator – Managed Services/ Microsoft SME Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in IT system design, implementation, and support.
- Proficiency in using Co-pilot, SentinelOne, Intune, M365, Azure, and SharePoint.
- Intermediate scripting and automation skills, particularly with PowerShell.
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows Server, including versions 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
- Solid understanding of DNS concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Cloud suite and other cloud environments (Office 365/Azure).
- Management and understanding of Active Directory environments and Group Policies.
- Fundamental understanding of Office 365, Azure AD, and AWS.
- A proactive approach to improving processes and workflows.
