System Engineer – MSP
We are a reputable/leading Cloud and Managed Service provider in the Houston area servicing 300+ small, mid-size and some enterprise clients. We are a one stop shop for anything IT-related including business advisory, cloud-computing, networking, cybersecurity, helpdesk, workforce solutions, etc.
We currently have a need for a System Engineer – MSP. The System Engineer will primarily work on projects, handle client discovery work, and occasionally serve as an escalation point on the service desk.
System Engineer – MSP Responsibilities:
- Lead solution designs, consultations, migrations, relocations, administration, and troubleshooting for various clients
- Lead Projects such as designing networks autonomously
- Complete server management/deployments (VMware and Hyper-V)
- Complete Azure build outs and migrations
- Complete O365 migrations from Exchange
- Handle Firewall configurations and deployments (SonicWall, Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, FortiGate, etc)
System Engineer – MSP Experience:
- Previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider is REQUIRED
- Cloud-computing experience Azure and O365
- Experience with troubleshooting and deploying Windows 2008, 2012, 2016 & 2019 Servers
- High knowledge of Network planning and deploying – Firewall experience
- Virtualization experience via VMware or Hyper-V
