Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Team Lead/ System Engineer L3 – (Managed Services) to lead our team and work on high level projects as needed. This is the ideal role for someone looking for a perfect mix of hands-on technical work and leading a team.

The Team Lead/ System Engineer L3 – (Managed Services) responsibilities include managing Engineers/Technicians, hands-on project-based work, acting as an escalation point, and connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. As a Team Lead/ System Engineer L3 – (Managed Services) you should also have a strong understanding of the needs of clientele and ensure their needs are met whenever possible. In this role, you will rely heavily on your cross-functional experience working with all internal teams to improve the entire customer experience.

Team Lead/ System Engineer L3 – (Managed Services) Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide our team in streamlining and optimizing processes for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems solutions.
  • Provide expert-level support to address a wide range of issues related to networking, infrastructure, servers, cloud environments.
  • You’ll investigate recurring problems, determine root causes, and develop long-term solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Working closely with Level 2 and Level 1 technicians, you’ll share knowledge and guidance to ensure we’re consistently delivering top-notch support.
  • Your proficiency in VMWare, Veeam, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, Aruba, HP, and Dell Servers and Storage will be essential as you assist in developing and managing IT infrastructure solutions for our valued clients.
  • Monitor and fine-tune their IT environments to ensure optimized performance, security, and reliability, implementing enhancements to enhance efficiency and stability along the way.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and execute business continuity and disaster recovery strategies, participating in testing and refining plans to ensure our clients can recover from unforeseen events.

Team Lead/ System Engineer L3 – (Managed Services) Technical Skills:

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior technicians.
  • VMware, Hyper-V or Azure deployments
  • MS Office 365 migrations
  • Support and administration of MS Windows Server solutions (Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Implement and administer Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Implement and administer infrastructure for business solutions based on Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019
  • Implement and administer virtual environments for both desktops and servers based on Microsoft, VMWare products.
  • Provide tier 3 troubleshooting support for a complete range of systems and network issues.

Team Lead/ System Engineer L3 – (Managed Services) Salary + Benefits:

  • $100,000 – $120,000 (dependent on experience)
