Tier 2 Support Engineer

Proactive Managed Service Provider located in Queens currently looking for a Tier 2 Support Engineer. The Tier 2 Support Engineer role is a full-time and permanent role with a Managed Service Provider that has been in business for over 20 years. The Tier 2 Support Engineer will work directly with the Lead Systems Engineer on project based work and also handle post implementation and escalated support issues. Most of the Tier 2 Support Engineer’s time will be spent in their office in Queens but some travel to client sites in the NYC Metro area will be required. The Tier 2 Support Engineer must be customer service oriented as this is a front-line customer facing role.

Requirements for Tier 2 Support Engineer:

  • High level knowledge of Microsoft Desktop OS, Windows Server OS, and Exchange Server
  • Experience working with Office 365
  • Virtualized Server Environments (VMware & Hyper V)
  • Hands on experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Switches, Routers, Firewalls, & VPNs

Beneficial Requirements for Tier 2 Support Engineer:

  • Previous experience working in MSP Industry
  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license, car, and willingness to travel to client sites

Pay & Benefits for Tier 2 Support Engineer:

  • $65,000 – $75,000
