System Administrator (Level 2) – MSP

We are seeking a System Administrator (Level 2) – MSP to join a growing Cloud Managed Service Provider to onboard new small to mid-size companies to the Cloud. We are well established Cloud Service Provider who supports clients across IL. We offer generous PTO, reimbursement for training, health insurance, and many more perks. The System Administrator (Level 2) – MSP will be working closely with network assessments and migrations along with senior engineers. The System Administrator (Level 2) – MSP will spend some of their time visiting local SMB client sites to perform network assessments and provide hands-on IT migration and deployment of servers and networks. The System Administrator (Level 2) – MSP will split time between providing scheduled on-site visits to clients within the area and providing remote support from the office. The System Administrator (Level 2) – MSP will be working closely with MS Office 365 and MS Azure, and with physical servers.

System Administrator (Level 2) – MSP Duties:

Experience with network and firewalls Cisco, SonicWall, Meraki, Fortinet, AV, CFS, routing, switching, network access control systems
Knowledgeable in Citrix and VMware migrations and deployments
Virtualization/cloud computing technologies, specifically VMware and performing P2Vs
Understanding and supporting 24/7 infrastructure and business-critical applications
Migration experience / Hybrid Cloud and on-prem
Knowledge of Exchange (Azure, O365 is a plus), Active Directory, DNS
Configure and install various computer and Windows servers
Ticketing system and RMM experience (ConnectWise, Kaseya, Datto, SolarWinds, etc.)
Install and integrate new server hardware and applications under the supervision of a more senior engineer
