System Project Engineer (Senior Role) – MSP

We are currently seeking a System Project Engineer (Senior Role) – MSP candidate to be part of a growing MSP. The selected candidate will join a team of trained and certified technicians, engineers, and customer service representatives. The System Project Engineer (Senior Role) – MSP will provide day-to-day support to clients implementing projects and deploying new technologies. The System Project Engineer (Senior Role)- MSP will be responsible for modernizing infrastructures, accessing and building out networks, and supporting escalated support.

The candidate must have experience working for an IT Managed Service Provider and working with Window Servers, Cisco, and virtualization technologies are highly encouraged to apply. The selected System Project Engineer (Senior Role) – MSP candidate must be willing to travel to client sites and provide end-to-end solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, including PCs, Switches, Routers, Internet, E-mail, etc. when needed

System Project Engineer (Senior Role) – MSP Experience:

Oversee and manage client’s servers and network infrastructure, peripheral devices, and workstations
Expert-level comprehension of network security design, configuration, and maintenance
Extensive experience with installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and customization of MS Office Suite applications per customer’s preferences
Experience working knowledge of High Availability load balancing solutions
Extensive experience and knowledge of Hyper-V and VMware
Working knowledge of SAN architecture Networking Technologies
Solid understanding of and ability to configure TCP/IP subnetting and troubleshoot Internet connectivity
Experience with Azure, AWS, Cisco, Meraki, Sophos, Fortigate Cloud Solutions
Proficiency in Scripting – Power Shell OR Bash is a plus
