IT Service Desk Engineer (MSP/ConnectWise) Role and Responsibilities:
- Configure standard Microsoft 365 and Exchange clients.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and customize MS Office Suite applications according to customer preferences.
- Understand and perform installation, configuration, and testing of workstation hardware such as video cards, NICs, sound cards, hard drives, and mobile devices.
- Set up file, print, and remote access services.
- Administer user accounts and groups, configure file permissions, monitor event logs, and manage backups.
- Manage enterprise email applications, including user/group management, folder permissions, mail forwarding, and aliases.
- Proficient in Windows desktop operating systems.
- Understand TCP/IP and diagnose Internet connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with routers, firewalls, Terminal Services, and Citrix.
- Basic knowledge of network components like switches, hubs, and patch panels.
- General understanding of DNS services.
- Working knowledge of firewalls such as SonicWALL, Meraki, or FortiGate .
