IT System Engineer (MSP)

We are looking for a well-rounded individual to consult, implement and manage a wide variety of solutions. The ideal System Engineer is someone who is considered a “jack of all trades” as you will be working with a diverse technical stack to customize solutions to our clients.

IT System Engineer (MSP) Responsibilities:

Provide technical project consulting and comprehensive IT support for a variety of business clients
Consult with end users and manage back-end systems.
Plan, execute and deploy computer, server and cloud solutions.
Implement network and printer reconfigurations.
Provide VoIP deployment, firewall management, virus/malware cleanup and end user help desk support.
Configure and install various computer and Windows servers
Migrate M365 & G-Suite
Azure build outs and migrations
Virtualization via Hyper-V or VMware (Configuring new infrastructure and completing P2V migrations)

IT System Engineer (MSP) Job Requirements and Qualifications:

7+ years of experience working for a Managed Service Provider
Server migrations (P2P, P2V, V2V)
Firewall migrations (Upgrade or Replace) with a full understanding of setup and management of firewall technology (WAN, LAN, Policies, Routing, etc.)
Cloud Migrations
Cyber Security Implementations such as MFA, new solutions roll-outs
New Line of Business Applications
Consultative abilities
Must have one of the 3 certifications MCP, Network+ or Security+
Preferred certifications: CSSP, CISM, CISSP, CSSA, CompTia A+, Project+, CSSA, VCP, Ethical Hacking
