Mid-Level System Admin (Level 2) MSP Duties and Requirements:
- Onsite support relating to technical issues involving all of Microsoft’s core business applications (AD, DNS, Exchange, SQL, Hyper-V, etc.), VMware Virtualization, and Client Operating Systems
- Advanced technical support at the network level: LAN/WAN connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless
- Advanced access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix technologies supported by the RMM solution for partner needs
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Create and update documentation of existing or future customer environment
- Experience with Networking, Windows OS’s to include XP, 7, 10, Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, and 2016
- Microsoft Windows Server Experience (current and supported versions)
- 2+ years of experience with building and managing firewalls
- Maintained ticket updates for reported incidents and experience with the help desk ticketing system (ConnectWise, Kaseya, ServiceNow, etc.)
- Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers.
