System Administrator – Managed Services IT Engineer Technical Requirements:
- Perform routine system upgrades, including Servers, PC/Computers, and Network Devices
- Routinely and proactively optimize customer-managed networks
- Administer Windows Based networks for multiple organizations
- Evaluate customer needs including computers, network hardware/software, technology use, applications, etc.
- Maintain and keep customer-managed network documentation up to date in near real-time
- Document troubleshooting steps taken to resolve escalated trouble tickets for other team members to reference
- Manage and oversee customer assigned projects outside of day-to-day IT support; such as network upgrades, server upgrades, application upgrades, computer upgrades, cloud migrations, and/or other projects related to the customers technology
- Assist with new product development, internal product development, and partnered product solutions through outside vendors
System Administrator – Managed Services IT Engineer Software Skills:
- Windows Server OS 2012/2016/2019
- AD and Azure AD
- DNS
- File/Print Server Management
- VMWare vSphere, Citrix, Windows Re mote Desktop/Terminal Server
- O365
- Azure Administration
- Managed Services Platform Software – Kaseya, ConnectWise, Autotask and/or similar products
System Administrator – Managed Services IT Engineer Desired Skills – (Not required)
- Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or Information Systems
- Industry Certifications – Microsoft, MCSA, MCP, AZ900, AZ104; CISCO CCNA, VMWare, Citrix
- Experienced working with and/or supporting VoIP solutions
- Prior Managed Service Provider Experience or IT consulting Experience
