System Engineer/ Manager – MSP
We are looking for a System Engineer/ Manager – MSP with strong leadership and managements qualities. The System Engineer/ Manager – MSP will spend 50% managing the team, 20% on escalations, 30% of their time on implementation/design.
The System Engineer/ Manager – MSP will be joining a prestigious Managed Service Provider that has been a leading IT organization since the early 90’s. Our services include Cyber Security, Professional Services, Managed Services, etc. We are a collaborative group and pave the way for our techs to grow internally and advance their technical knowledge.
System Engineer/ Manager – MSP Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide the team in efforts to create an effective and seamless process designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems solutions
- Provide expert-level solutions and top escalated support focusing on resolving complex issues related to networking, infrastructure, servers, cloud environments
- Assist in the design, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure solutions for clients, including servers, networks, security systems, and cloud services
- Supervising junior engineers
- Microsoft 365 administration & migration support
- Azure infrastructure (design, implementation, management)
- System Administration (Windows Servers)
- Security & compliance to safeguard infrastructure
- Backup & disaster recovery
- Network Infrastructure management (configure firewalls, provide support)
System Engineer/ Manager – MSP Requirements:
- 3+ years of Microsoft cloud administration
- 2+ years of experience working for a Managed Service Provider REQUIRED*
- Minimum 1 year of Team Lead/Technical Lead experience, preferably within and MSP environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, Azure Virtual Machines
- Experience with backup & disaster recovery
- Experience migrating clients over to the cloud
- Experience with VMware
- Experience with ConnectWise
- Experience serving as a manager or team lead
System Engineer/ Manager – MSP Benefits:
