Network Engineer L3 – MSP Division Responsibilities and Requirements:
Your role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, applying firmware updates, and assisting clients with technical support and training. You’ll work with firewalls, switches, and various network components, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve network issues.
- Install and update network components and firmware.
- Maintain and document network configurations.
- Provide client support and training.
- Implement proactive solutions to minimize helpdesk tickets.
- Serve as a senior technical resource and escalate issues as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous MSP experience is a requirement
- Expertise in network protocols and routing (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
- Experience with firewalls and managed switch deployments (Fortinet, Cisco, etc.).
- Knowledge of DNS, email security, VoIP, and network design.
- CCNA or equivalent certification preferred.
Network Engineer L3 – MSP Division Salary / Benefits:
- Salary: $80,000 to $95,000
