Technical Account Manager – Cybersecurity Team Requirements:
- 2+ years of Managed Service Provider Experience REQUIRED to be considered
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent active certification
- Networking security (LAN/WAN architecture, firewalls, web proxy, ids/ips, WAF, etc.) experience
- Endpoint security (DLP, EDR, etc.) knowledge
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory
- Expert knowledge of Authentication Protocols
- Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, TCP/IP, UDP
- Experience in a client-facing account management position previously.
- Experience with creating technical documentation.
- Strong decision-making capabilities
Technical Account Manager – Cybersecurity Team Qualities:
- Experience in managing client-vendor third-party due diligence cybersecurity audits.
- Enhance overall security strategy and align with the business objectives of the organization.
- Keep up with emerging threats and new technologies to enhance organizational cyber defense systems.
- Work with business and technology partners to facilitate risk management and risk management processes to mitigate potential threats to the organization’s infrastructure, applications, and data.
- Develop and conduct security awareness training for clients to promote a security-first culture throughout the organization. Ensure that clients are aware of their security responsibilities and trained to mitigate risks.
- Improve and implement a security governance framework including controls, standards, policies, and guidelines. Ensure the consistent application of governance across all technology projects, products, systems, and services.
- Manage the timely creation and dissemination of security-related communications including security awareness and training announcements, security compliance policies and processes, security alerts, and event messaging.
- Measure the effectiveness of security controls. Define and use metrics to track performance.
- Manage a comprehensive Governance Risk Compliance program in support of corporate audits and periodic client assessments.
- Ensure that our company meets all internal and external audit requirements.
- Experience with understanding, applying and revising corporate cybersecurity polices (e.g. Authentication and Access Control Policy, Clean Desk Policy, Asset Management Policy).
- Additional responsibilities include; technical planning, development and integration, verification and validation of cybersecurity systems
