Technical Account Manager (TAM)

We are seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join a well established Managed, Cloud, and Security service provider based in Irvine, CA. The Technical Account Manager (TAM) will be joining a company with a collaborative work environment and an emphasis on customer service, innovation, and employee development.

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) will primarily be working with select clients to develop scalable IT strategies for short and long-term growth. The IT Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for engaging with C-levels to roadmap technology for infrastructure projects. The Technical Account Manager (TAM) will ideally have an engineering background looking to take on more of a consultative role.

Technical Account Manager (TAM) Responsibilities:

  • Meet with client success team to understand project scope, estimates, and goals.
  • Responsible for new client onboardings, client management, and alignment to industry best practices
  • Develop, build and cultivate long-term relationships with key management within your clients’ organizations
  • Staying in scope and interfacing with client and internal teams when scope changes
  • Provide, accurate, timely, and detailed documentation of all technical client project plans
  • Consult with your clients and teammates to strategize technology infrastructure solutions, including hardware, software, network architecture, and systems processes that will achieve your clients’ business goals

Technical Account Manager (TAM) Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience acting as an IT Services Consultant/Advisor
  • Knowledge of Windows Servers, AD, o365 Administration/migrations, Azure, VMware or Hyper-V,
  • 3+ Experience working for a Managed Service Provider Required***
  • Experience roadmaping technology and projects
  • Previous experience in computer engineering, architecture, or other related fields
  • Solid understanding of networking, hardware, and software
