vCIO (Managed Service Provider) Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Managing relationships with principals, owners, and key stakeholders in client organizations
- Understanding technology business drivers in client organizations
- Strategic Technology Roadmap / Budget Planning and Educating clients on technology trends and opportunities
- Technical business consulting
- Working with clients and internal teams on support escalations, project scoping and management
- Regularly communicate with assigned accounts, set expectations, and negotiate priorities appropriately.
- Recognize and identify systemic issues and communicate recommendations for remediation to support team.
- Regularly meet with the service desk manager, professional services manager, and others to strategize on immediate and long-term client needs.
- Participate in Project Management Process. Desired Skills & Experience o Sound decision making, critical thinking and problem skills.
vCIO (Managed Service Provider) Qualifications:
- 1+ years of MSP experience REQUIRED
- 3+ Years of IT experience working with Active Directory, O365, Windows OS, Cisco
- Experience with ConnectWise, Continuum RMM, and IT Glue preferred
- Experience serving as a trusted advisor, VCIO, client consultant
- Must be commutable to Houston, TX 77041 five days a week
