Bowman Williams is seeking an Operation Manager – Cloud Deployment Services

The Chief Operation Manager – Cloud Deployment Services will be part of a 60 person VMware platform solutions company that has consistently grown in revenue and size since 2006. This company attracts strong IT generalists with a Managed Services or Cloud services background. Each person is required to get a VCP, MCSA or MCSE within their first 18 months and classes and tests are all paid for ahead of time (not reimbursed). They are a global leader and recognized by VMware as a partner of the year. The Chief Operation Manager will help develop and manage the Cloud Deployment Services for Windows and VMware environments, with occasional field tech work on client sites. The Chief Operation Manager will be a Team Lead and mentor system administrators as well as head-up the Cloud and Hosting Team.

Chief Operation Manager – Cloud Deployment Services Include:

Developing systems and internal operations for the Cloud Deployment Team (VMware technologies).
The Chief Operations Manager will be recommending new technologies and solutions to proactively support the clients’ environment
Testing and evaluating network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements
Determining which products or services best fit the customers’ needs
The Chief Operation Manager will be recommending and building systems and efficiencies for end-user and overall client site support both remotely and on-site

Chief Operation Manager – Cloud Deployment Services Requirements:

4+years of related experience in Microsoft System Engineering
Management experience is a plus
Previous Team Lead experience or mentoring or a desire to grow into a Team Leader
Engineering or related high level consulting or (MSCE, MCSA, VCP, CCNA/E, etc.)
