Cloud Administrator & Networking Engineer (MSP) Responsibilities:
- This position is a 50/50 split between projects and support. The project side of the house would include installing/configuring networking devices (Fortinet, Meraki, Unify), troubleshooting, heatmapping, providing post support and some security. A lot of their projects are full replacements or moving a network. This is a unique opportunity to work with a senior networking engineer on the team to gain exposure to higher level networking and security.
- When it comes to the support side of the house, this person will be handling Level 2 tickets (again, all Level 1 tickets are outsourced). This person will be taking inbound tickets in a team environment that is highly collaborative where the L2s and L3s work together. All the clients are Microsoft environments, supporting end users (most from the medical industry) and handling systems administration: M365, Cloud, Windows Server, Intune enrollment, SharePoint, OneDrive, network connection issues, remote support/access issues like Teams, etc. Their applications include ConnectWise Manage, ScreenConnect, N-able RMM and for network monitoring, SentinelOne.
Cloud Administrator & Networking Engineer (MSP) Must Haves:
- Prior experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is required
- 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing, technical services environment. MSP experience is a major plus!
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN, IPSEC, VoIP
- Experience with WAN/LAN networking, including routing, switching, security, and load balancing.
- Familiarity with WLAN technologies like Meraki, Ubiquiti, Cisco, and Fortinet.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 / SharePoint / Intune / One Drive. , Windows Desktop, and Apple Ecosystem.
- Experience with Android, iOS, and Office365.
- Knowledge of MSP-related tools such as ConnectWise Manage and N-Able RMM
