Desktop Support Technician – MSP Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Managed Service Provider Experience REQUIRED
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop hardware and peripherals
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows 7/10/11 and various desktop and cloud applications
- Installing, configuring, and repairing desktop and network printers
- Basic Network connectivity diagnostics and repair – Ping, DNS, DHCP, traceroute, etc.
- Alert Troubleshooting
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Working in an Active Directory Environment (Joining Computer to Domain, Create Accounts, Reset Passwords)
- Standard Desktop Applications (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat etc.)
- Multiple Internet Browsers (Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome etc.)
- Anti-virus/Anti-Malware Software (Sophos, Trend Micro, Crowdstrike, Sentinel, etc.)
- On-premise and hosted VoIP systems
- Networking technologies
