Director of Engineering (MSP):

  • Analyze complex business needs presented by the user community and/or clients and design/recommend technical solutions
  • Supervise company and client system infrastructure to ensure functionality, standardization and efficiency and making changes as necessary
  • Assist with hardware and software evaluations and maintains vendor contracts
  • Monitor KPIs to assess technological performance
  • Ensure the company’s technological processes and services are developed and maintained and comply with all requirements, laws, regulations and best practices
  • Perform weekly review of technology team members timesheets, quarterly review of goal/performance progress, and regular performance reviews for all technological staff
  • Provide escalation support for technicians, including guidance on issue resolution and, if needed, take ownership of issues and see to resolution
  • Drive improvements in service delivery through improved SOP/workflow, protocols, systems, documentation and other areas of responsibility.
  • Provide project design/implementation for customer solutions, including leading the design and overseeing tech implementation or in some instances complete them personally
  • Facilitate the review of technical implementations, including technical audits for new and existing clients by the Security & Compliance teams.

Director of Engineering (MSP) Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge and experience providing implementation/migration project planning, configuring, and supporting Microsoft cloud technology: Azure (IaaS), Azure AD, Microsoft 365 project
  • 5+ years of MSP experience REQUIRED
  • 10+ years of  experience within IT organizations.
  • MUST come from a technical background and be able assist with technical implementations/ escalated tickets when needed
  • Strategic thinking and ability to interpret complex data into actionable tasks that support the organizations objectives
  • At least five (5) years of team leadership or other supervisory experience a must.
  • Skills: Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development, and an ability to integrate
    that with an organization’s larger strategic plan.
  • Strong knowledge of fundamentals including IT service management, end user computing systems, networking, virtualization concepts, emerging tech and board industry security standards.
  • Knowledge of banking operations and IT infrastructure within financial institutions, including
    familiarity with core processing platforms is preferred
