Director of Help Desk- (MSP)

Director of Help Desk- (MSP) join our growing team. We are looking for a hands on leader who has experience in managing technical teams but also willing to roll up their sleeves and directly perform work as needed.

In this role the Director of Help Desk- (MSP) will be a high-energy, team-oriented individual who will possess a critical leadership role. The Director of Help Desk- (MSP) will oversee Triage/Dispatch, Quality Assurance, Standard Operating Procedures, and Reporting. The Director of Help Desk- (MSP) will be able to demonstrated a track record of success in providing technical leadership, planning, organizing, managing and overall supervision of Help Desk teams.

Director of Help Desk- (MSP) Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day activities of support operations to ensure end users and external customers receive the support they require.
  •  Effectively manage, develop, mentor, coach, and train the support team.
  • Be a point of escalation for the support team and customers; manage escalated issues to resolution.
  • Participate in management meetings, providing updates on areas of responsibility, and input on other topics impacting the business or Help Desk
  • Personnel management (hiring, performance reviews, terminating, coaching, mentoring, etc.)
  • Prepares and maintains SOPs and documentation for team, company, and end users

Director of Help Desk- (MSP) Requirements:

  • 3-5 years+ of related experience. (Required)
  • 3+ years- experience in a similar role managing technical personnel and technologies
  • Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
  • Experience supporting secure Web applications and Cloud platforms
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to see issues through to resolution.
