We’re looking for a System Engineer who is ready to take on a role that blends technical problem-solving with project work. You’ll serve as an escalation point for Tier 1 engineers while also working on IT infrastructure projects that enhance client environments. What You’ll Do:
- Act as the highest-level escalation for technical support issues
- Mentor and coach Tier 1 engineers, helping them improve troubleshooting skills
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, virtualization, and infrastructure issues
- Perform proactive and reactive Incident Response to system and service anomalies
- Work on IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and network configurations
- Identify opportunities for automation and improve efficiency through scripting
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and obtain industry certifications
What We’re Looking For:
- 2-5 years of IT experience, ideally in an MSP environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows Server, virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware), networking, and cloud technologies
- Experience working on IT infrastructure projects (e.g., migrations, deployments, upgrades)
- Excellent communication skills – ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical users
- Ability to hit the ground running and work independently in a fast-paced environment
