Field Engineer – Junior (MSP)

We seek a Field Engineer – Junior (MSP) to join an MSP company that supports small-medium-sized businesses with their everyday technology needs. Primary responsibilities include, troubleshoot, repair, and configure basic computer systems. The Field Engineer – Junior (MSP) , will be an escalation point on the field. The Field Engineer – Junior (MSP) will work one on one with clients to find quick resolutions to easy-moderate issues, all while delivering excellent customer service and valuing the customer.

The Field Engineer – Junior (MSP) role will be an excellent opportunity for an up-and-coming junior tech to gain exposure to emerging virtualization and cloud technologies and grow beyond essential desktop support. Must be teachable, ready to learn, good work ethic and great attitude!

Field Engineer – Junior (MSP) Responsibilities:

2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING FOR A MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER
Troubleshooting and administering Microsoft infrastructure (O365, Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.)
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls and wireless routers.
Server and file migrations including migration to Microsoft Azure and other third-party platforms
Experience with Hyper-V and/or VMware ESXi
Azure AD experience
Installation and configuration of Windows Servers
Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware
