Field Engineer Tier 2 (MSP):

We are a full service Managed and Cloud Services Provider focused on providing comprehensive analytical data and IT services to ensure small and medium-sized businesses are modernized. We offer cyber and network security, IT consultation, cloud computing, server/network support, and hardware support. This is a primarily work from home role with 20% of your time spent onsite with clients.

We are currently seeking a Field Engineer Tier 2 (MSP) who will respond to technical queries and issues, provide onsite (white-glove) support, resolve IT infrastructure issues promptly, and provide technical recommendations to staff/clients within the Delaware valley (20% of your time). This is a full-time (W2) position targeting $70K – $80K depending on your experience.

We are only accepting Field Engineer Tier 2 (MSP) applicants with previous MSP experience.

Field Engineer Tier 2 (MSP) Responsibilities: 

  •  Effectively communicate with company clients and staff using internal communications guidelines and workflows on ticket status, next steps, progress, and resolution
  • Handle service tickets assigned by the client service coordinator and incoming calls to the service hotline.
  • Fulfilling requests for moves, adds, and changes (MACs)
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly
  • Prioritizing your workload to ensure the most critical issues are resolved first.
  • Document standard support procedures that coworkers can follow (via Kaseya VSA and Autotask).
  • Participate in ongoing training and stay updated with new products and services.

Field Engineer Tier 2 (MSP) Requirements:

  • Previous Managed Services Provider experience required
  • 3+ years of experience in IT troubleshooting and supporting computer, networking, or server infrastructure.
  • Experience in ISP Installation, WLAN, Antivirus, Mobile Devices, Email, basic networking, and server support.
  • MDM Experience (Jamf, Intune) a plus.
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) Systems a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong phone presence with a knack for building rapport quickly and establishing trust.
