We are currently seeking an Field Support Specialist – (MSP) to work for a rapidly growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) located in Plano, TX. The Field Support Specialist – (MSP) will be responsible for managing multiple clients in the field. The Field Support Specialist – (MSP) will perform server deployment and maintenance in our customer data centers and office build-outs will perform server deployment and maintenance in our customer data centers and office build-outs. The Field Support Specialist – (MSP) will work with implementation managers, infrastructure delivery managers, and network infrastructure engineers to ensure that design plans and project plans are implemented accurately and efficiently.

Field Support Specialist – (MSP) Responsibilities:
- Physical racking of equipment (rack prep, rack, and stack, switches/routers, servers, appliances, etc)
- Diagnose simple hardware issues
- Help configure basic server and networking configurations
- Organize equipment and packages coming in/out of data center or offices
- Location and processing of RMAs
- Perform software installation on Windows Workstations and Windows Servers
- Maintain detailed information of client interactions and issues within ConnectWise ticketing system
Field Support Specialist – (MSP) Requirements:
- Experience working for an MSP preferred
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficient knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office applications
- Experience working office IDF / MDF environments
- Must have reliable transportation. The job requires movement between locations that may not have access to public transportation.
- Experience with network management and monitoring tools
