Help Desk Technician / Field Engineer (MSP)
We are a leading Managed and Cloud Services Provider that has been in business for over 20 years. We provide companies with strategic alignment to business goals, adequate backup, security, and IT/cloud services to ensure operations run efficiently and cost-effectively.
Due to revenue growth, we’re seeking a personable, professional, and confident Help Desk Technician / Field Engineer (MSP) to act as the “face of the company” and provide white-glove IT support. The Help Desk Technician / Field Engineer (MSP position requires strong desktop and application support, as well as comfort with business-grade infrastructure (servers, firewalls, switches, wireless access points). This is a full-time opportunity with a salary between $50K – $55K, depending on experience.
Help Desk Technician / Field Engineer (MSP) Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and resolving desktop issues.
- Provide “boots on the ground” for remote Service and Project Engineers… this will be an opportunity to learn more about IT!
- Assist with final data migration of configured computers and position workstations, including computer setup, peripheral setup and cable management
- Personable, professional, and confident technical presence with our clients… this is the heart of the role!
Help Desk Technician / Field Engineer (MSP) Technology Experience:
- Microsoft Windows and Windows Server (2012 R2 through 2022)
- TCP networking and other basic networking protocols (DHCP, DNS, VLANs, etc.)
- Virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V
- Work with Cloud applications such as Mimecast, M365, DUO, Onelogin, Dropbox, Sharepoint, and various VOIP solutions
- Support Azure Entra ID and Intune
