Help Desk Technician – MSP
We seek a Help Desk Technician – MSP to join a growing Managed Service Provider. The Help Desk Technician – MSP has the opportunity to step into a Junior Support Engineer role by shadowing senior technicians on more complex issues to grow their knowledge and become more autonomous. The Help Desk Technician – MSP will be part of a team coordinating technology refreshes and deployments to end-users. The Help Desk Technician – MSP position requires someone with 1-2 years of IT support / MSP experience who enjoys working with customers and learning from senior-level engineers. The Help Desk Technician – MSP will have experience troubleshooting, installing, configuring, and testing different technologies.
Help Desk Technician – MSP Experience:
- Solid and consistent communication with customers by Phone, Email, and in Person
- 1+ year experience working for a Managed Service Provider
- Experience with IT supports ticketing systems and RMM (ConnectWise, AutoTask Datto, Kaseya, etc.)
- Assist with queueing tickets by answering the helpdesk telephone
- Troubleshooting of modern networks, including but not limited to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless
- Microsoft Office installation, product activation, and troubleshooting
- Network troubleshooting and configuration, including wired and wireless networks
- Office 365 troubleshooting and administration experience
- Support Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10
- Troubleshooting of multi-site Active Directory 2008R2/2012/2016 environments
- Knowledge of Remote Desktop Technologies
- Mobile device email setup and troubleshooting (Android, iPhone, and others)
- Desktop Maintenance, Troubleshooting, OS installation, and new Desktop setup
- Domain password reset
- Experience troubleshooting networks (SonicWall, Cisco, Meraki, Ruckus, etc.)
- Effectively communicate issues and alternative solutions
