Help Desk Technician – MSP

We seek a Help Desk Technician – MSP to join a growing Managed Service Provider. The Help Desk Technician – MSP has the opportunity to step into a Junior Support Engineer role by shadowing senior technicians on more complex issues to grow their knowledge and become more autonomous. The Help Desk Technician – MSP will be part of a team coordinating technology refreshes and deployments to end-users. The Help Desk Technician – MSP position requires someone with 1-2 years of IT support / MSP experience who enjoys working with customers and learning from senior-level engineers. The Help Desk Technician – MSP will have experience troubleshooting, installing, configuring, and testing different technologies.

Help Desk Technician – MSP Experience:

Solid and consistent communication with customers by Phone, Email, and in Person
1+ year experience working for a Managed Service Provider
Experience with IT supports ticketing systems and RMM (ConnectWise, AutoTask Datto, Kaseya, etc.)
Assist with queueing tickets by answering the helpdesk telephone
Troubleshooting of modern networks, including but not limited to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless
Microsoft Office installation, product activation, and troubleshooting
Network troubleshooting and configuration, including wired and wireless networks
Office 365 troubleshooting and administration experience
Support Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10
Troubleshooting of multi-site Active Directory 2008R2/2012/2016 environments
Knowledge of Remote Desktop Technologies
Mobile device email setup and troubleshooting (Android, iPhone, and others)
Desktop Maintenance, Troubleshooting, OS installation, and new Desktop setup
Domain password reset
Experience troubleshooting networks (SonicWall, Cisco, Meraki, Ruckus, etc.)
Effectively communicate issues and alternative solutions
