Hybrid System Administrator (Level 2) – MSP

We seek a Hybrid System Administrator (Level 2) – MSP to join an MSP company that supports small-medium-sized businesses with their everyday technology needs. The Hybrid System Administrator (Level 2) – MSP responsibilities include visiting local client sites in the area to support project needs when it comes to TCP/IP, Active Directory, Office365, Exchange, WAN, VLAN, Firewalls, VMWare, etc. The Hybrid System Administrator (Level 2) – MSP will also be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and integrity of the server components of the network including systems backups. The Hybrid System Administrator (Level 2) – MSP will have the opportunity to gain exposure to emerging virtualization and cloud technologies and grow beyond essential desktop support.

Hybrid System Administrator (Level 2) – MSP Experience:

  • Experience with Networking, Windows OS’s to include XP, 7, 10, Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, and 2016
  • Experience working with HP or Dell servers
  • Experience working with Cisco routers and switches with a CCNA preferred
  • Experience with Virtualization Technologies: VMWare, Hyper-V (preferred)
  • Maintained ticket updates for reported incidents and experience with the help desk ticketing system (ConnectWise, Kaseya, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware,
  • Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers.
  • Microsoft Windows Server Experience (current and supported versions)
  • O365 or Exchange Server Experience (current and supported versions)
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Understanding of TCP/IP
  • Troubleshooting and administering Microsoft infrastructure (O365, Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.)

Hybrid System Administrator (Level 2) – MSP Salary / Benefits:

  • Salary: $70k – $80k
