Hybrid System Engineer – MSP

We are seeking a Hybrid System Engineer – MSP candidate to be part of a growing Managed Service Provider firm. The Hybrid System Engineer – MSP will help clients migrate from on-prem solutions to cloud solutions. The ideal System Engineer (Partial Work From Home – MSP) candidate for this position will have 2-5+ years of experience deploying and supporting small-to-medium business environments, including servers, networking, virtualization, and the cloud.

Hybrid System Engineer – MSP must have excellent customer service skills and a desire to increase knowledge of cloud technology, virtualization, and networks for small-to-medium business solutions. The Hybrid System Engineer – MSP candidate will support projects supporting O365/Azure deployments, virtualizing servers via Hyper-V/VMware, Server/Desktop support, and Networking configurations (SonicWall and Cisco Meraki) support. The Hybrid System Engineer – MSP will also lead as the technical expert for all infrastructure-related outages, failures, and problems.

Hybrid System Engineer – MSP Experience:

  • Troubleshooting and deploying Window server 2012-2019
  •  Act as the highest point of escalation for Tier 2 and Tier 1 engineers.
  • MS Office 365 administration with domain synchronization and migrations
  • MUST HAVE 2+ YEARS OF MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER EXPERIENCE and Hands-On Experience
  • Azure deployments
  • Provide top-notch technical support in your areas of subject matter expertise (network, virtualization)
  • Active Directory and Group Policy creation
  • O365/G-suite/Azure Migrations
  • Coordinating and implementing client/server applications architecture
  • VMware and/or Hyper-V experience as well as cluster experience
  • P2V migration experience
  • Implementing network software and hardware upgrades (Cisco Meraki; SonicWall)
  • Routing, switching, network access control systems experience
  • Configuring and managing firewalls, switches, WAPs, VPNs, and other network appliances
