IT Business Development Representative (MSP)
Location: Chicago, IL (60% Onsite, 40% Remote)
Base Salary: $60,000 – $85,000 + Uncapped Commissions

How You’ll Earn:

  • Managed Services Contracts (MSP Agreements): 8% of first month’s recurring revenue for 12 months.
    • Example: A $4,000/month contract = $320/month for a year ($3,840 total).
  • One-Time Project Work (SOW): 5% of the total project cost.
    • Example: A $30,000 project = $1,500 commission (max payout: $10,000).
  • Labor-Only Retainers (RMC): 50% of first month’s payment (spread over 12 months).
    • Example: A $4,000/month contract = $2,000 commission (max payout: $10,000).

What You’ll Do:

  • Prospect and engage new business opportunities through networking, outreach, and referrals.
  • Present and sell Managed IT Services, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions to C-level executives and business owners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across various industries.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals in a consultative sales approach.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with client needs.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven success in B2B sales (experience selling Managed IT Services preferred).
  • Strong consultative selling skills – ability to communicate IT solutions to non-technical buyers.
