IT Help Desk Technician Level 2 & Jr System Administrator (MSP) Overview:

We are seeking a IT Help Desk Technician Level 2 & Jr System Administrator (MSP) with a background working for a MSP or CSP. The main responsibilities of the IT Help Desk Technician Level 2 & Jr System Administrator (MSP) are to resolve escalated issues and work with our System/Network Administrators on infrastructure upgrade projects. The IT Help Desk Technician Level 2 & Jr System Administrator (MSP) should be well versed supporting Microsoft technologies, Windows Server, M365, VMware, Hyper-V, backup solutions, and Networks (routers, switches, firewalls).
IT Help Desk Technician Level 2 & Jr System Administrator (MSP) Desired Skills & Experience:
- Verifiable experience with Microsoft Servers – AD, DNS, etc.
- Verifiable experience with Microsoft Cloud Offerings – Azure, M365, VDI, etc.
- Experience supporting Windows Desktop systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience supporting Mobile handheld devices (Android, iOS, etc.)
- Experience supporting Enterprise Backup Solutions – BDR’s, DATTO, Infrascale, etc.
- Experience with firewalls, managed switches, VPNs, VLANs, etc. (Sophos, Ubiquiti, Aruba InstantOn, etc.)
- Experience supporting Anti-virus and Anti Malware (Sophos a plus)
- Experience using a PSA tool, such as AutoTask, ConnectWise
- Experience using an RMM tool, such as ConnectWise Automate, Datto RMM, etc.
