IT Help Desk Technician (MSP/Windows):

Since 2002, we have provided Managed IT Services to clients in and around Riverside, CA. We have forged strong relationships with our clients which is why we have a 95% retention rate. Due to an increase in revenue, we are seeking an IT Help Desk Technician (MSP/Windows) who has previously worked for a MSP.

The IT Help Desk Technician (MSP/Windows) will report to our Riverside office the first 6 months then will be allowed to WFH a few days per week. As an IT Help Desk Technician (MSP/Windows) you will providing first-level support from our clients using Autotask and Datto RMM. The IT Help Desk Technician (MSP/Windows) role requires proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to operating systems, networks, productivity software, and server/email management.

IT Help Desk Technician (MSP/Windows) Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support for Windows and Macintosh operating systems, troubleshoot domain environments, and maintain productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Utilize Autotask and Datto RMM to log, categorize, and manage incidents reported by users, ensuring timely resolution or escalation to Level 2 or higher technicians when required.
  • Resolve common technical issues, including password resets, software installation, network connectivity, Microsoft Exchange (2013+), and hardware problems.
  • Maintain professional communication with users, providing regular updates on ticket status and ensuring high-quality customer service.

IT Help Desk Technician (MSP/Windows) Technology Experience:

  • Windows (Server 2012+ preferred)
  • Macintosh OS (user and technician experience preferred)
  • Basic computer and network troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with domain environment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Active Directory
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox)
  • Microsoft Outlook/Outlook Express/OWA
  • Datto RMM/AutoTask
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange (2013+)
