Customer Success Manager – Managed IT Services (MSP)
Location: Chantilly, VA
Salary: $80,000 – $90,000
What You’ll Do
As a Customer Success Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their business and technology goals align for maximum success. This role blends technical expertise, strategic guidance, and strong relationship management to improve business outcomes for our clients.
- Provide strategic IT advice to clients, guiding purchasing decisions and technology implementations.
- Conduct regular Business Reviews to assess client needs, identify risks, and propose improvements.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure optimal client support and service delivery.
- Manage client onboarding and coordinate IT projects to ensure smooth execution.
- Act as a liaison between clients, vendors, and technical teams, advocating for client needs while balancing business interests.
- Monitor client environments to proactively address potential risks and issues.
- Prepare quotes, statements of work, and review invoices for accuracy.
- Support security awareness training and risk reduction strategies for clients.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience:
- 3+ years in a technical account management or similar client-facing IT role.
- MUST have 1+ years experience working for an IT Managed Service Provider
- Proven experience as a systems administrator/engineer with hands-on knowledge of network and server diagnostics, design, and implementation.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of networking topics such as routing, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls (SonicWALL or Cisco).
- Expertise with Microsoft Windows Server, MS Exchange, MS SQL, and virtualization technologies (vSphere, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft certifications).
- Skills:
- High business acumen with the ability to articulate and explain IT and business processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
