IT Helpdesk Technician Level 2 (MSP)

We are a leading Managed IT Services Provider in search of an IT Helpdesk Technician Level 2 (MSP) experienced in the MSP industry. As the IT Helpdesk Technician Level 2 (MSP) you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing software, hardware, and networks across our client environments. This role involves direct customer support, including making and taking support calls, ensuring that the technology infrastructure for our clients runs smoothly and efficiently, providing high-level support and solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

IT Helpdesk Technician Level 2 (MSP) Responsibilities and Technologies:

  • At least 1 year of MSP experience
  • Form relationships with clients to learn their requirements and business objectives
  • Provide on-site and remote end user and server support with a focus on client satisfaction and technical expertise
  • Perform system and network diagnostics, repairs and suggest improvements
  • Windows Server Administration (DHCP, DNS, and GPO/AD)
  • M365 administration and security
  • Setup and maintain users and email accounts in Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, Exchange and Microsoft 365
  • Virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V
  • TCP networking and other basic networking protocols (DHCP, DNS, VLANs, etc.)
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls and wireless access points
  • Knowledge of VLANs, static routing, subnetting and other networking techniques
